A few good men (…or dwarves, or elves, or orcs…)

Hey there people. It’s always been my intention to put together what is essentially the Knifestone Expanded Universe: I set up this fantasy world, and let other creators write/draw stories set within it. There are two ongoing spinoff series I have ideas for, as well as a series of short stories (kinda Flight-esque, I guess) called “Tales of Knifestone” for anyone who just has a single fun idea. I’m always going to be doing the main series, but for the rest of it I kinda wanna George Lucas it up. I can’t think of a webcomic that’s ever really had a shared universe like that, and I think it’s a pretty interesting idea.

So essentially I’m looking for people who either want to write or draw (or both) some (preferably all-ages) fantasy stories. I’ve got all the hosting already, I can handle all the web design (although if someone is awesome and wants to do that too, then by all means). I’m putting together the series bible as it were, as there are obviously some aspects that define the rules of the world, but really there’s a ton of room.

So if there’s a fantasy story you’d like to do alone or are willing to be partnered with someone else, then let me know. I can’t say that you’ll get paid for it (heck, I don’t even come close to making money with this thing), but if you’ve got a story to tell or want to get started writing or drawing comics and don’t know how/where to start, then I can at least provide you a way to do it that isn’t going to cost you anything other than your time.
